Within the next 24 months, there will be a major NHL Press Conference in Hartford, Governor Luke Bronin will be attending as he has spearheaded this project with current Governor Malloy, they have been pushing for the NHL for the past year, they are pumping tens of millions of state dollars into the XL Center and are doing so for a reason, there is stuff going on behind the scenes the likes of which your little pea brain could never handle, so to try and explain it to you would be a complete waste of time.  There are major league investors lined up to bring the NHL to Hartford, current Governor Malloy has mentioned these investors numerous times, and when the XL Center has completed its renovations you will see the chips fall, and you will hear about all of this AFTER the deal is done, this is how major business transactions take place in the business world, you don't see these kinds of deals taking place when you are buying packages of tube socks at Target, it is best if you leave these big transactions up to the professionals and major investors.

Here is my proof that you're making everything up and have no clue what you're talking about. Love to hear what lame excuse you thought up to explain this falsehood away.

Crazy. Build it and they will come.

They haven't even built it yet and they've already been approved. Honestly, if what Mark had been saying about the plans and investors is true, then why hasn't Hartford been approved to do the same thing? You'd think that if Hartford was on the same level, or ahead of Seattle, that they would have been approved to do this a long time ago.

"YEs mark I do agree they won the cup but not from the nhl.."

Jersey, at that time, more than one professional league competed for the Cup.  You can't knock Seattle because of that, they were only playing by the rules.

Oh I know Mark but he compared them tk Hartford but Seattle wasn’t an nhl city.. that was his knock on Hartford..

They have been approved to apply for expansion.  And, if they apply, they will get the 32nd team, to balance the conferences, yada, yada, yada.

I still firmly believe there will be relocation of at least one team (AZ) this spring,  and there will be others, maybe 1 or 2 more, few years.

The Coyotes will be in Hartford BEFORE the year 2020.  The Chase family is sitting on piles of money, Howard Baldwin has run large NHL ownership groups before, the XL Center has a new ice sheet, new Governor Bronin is actively seeking out NHL teams to move here, Hartford already has all the pieces of the puzzle.
