They'll play at Rentschler.  Dillon...if/when it gets done...is going to be too small.  The only other option that is even remotely possible is Veterans Memorial Stadium in New Britain, but even that only holds like 9,000 or so.

Very true, the Hartford Colonials would often see attendance levels near 15,000 for games.

Based upon that, it would be best to have the Hartford Whale playing at The Rent, there will be 7 other teams in the league for the first year.

If McMahon decides that Hartford is worthy of a franchise (and according to what I read on ESPN, all the teams will be owned by him and him alone, meaning he calls the shots), then Rentschler is the most likely home.

This is going to be big for the area, he said he will do things differently, bring in football talent and football experts, have a season from about February-May, this will continue the rebuilding effort in Hartford, as we will now have a baseball team with the Goats, a soccer team that is coming soon with the Dillon Stadium renovation, if the XFL is at the Rent to replace the void that the Colonials departure created, and if the Arizona Coyotes move here in the next year or two years, a lot of stuff is starting to take shape, in addition to the new Travel Center, the Busway extension, the Science Center, Convention Center, XL Center renovations, new UConn campus, Aetna remaining their presence in Hartford, the new DMV Whaler license plates, the new casino up the street in East Windsor...

I'd like to see the Hartford Whale play from March to June, with playoffs starting in late June, before NFL training camps open.

During the announcement today, Mr. McMahon said the new XFL season would start at the end of January or beginning of February. With a 10 game season and two semi-final games and a championship game, new XFL season would probably end in the middle of April.
I have to say that Mr. McMahon looked and sounded a lot older then 72 today. He might not make it to 2020, let alone relaunch the XFL in 2020.
